Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all skip hire services provided by RWM Skip Hire. By booking a skip, accepting delivery, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

 1. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, “Our” means RWM Skip Hire. “Customer” means the person or company hiring the skip. “Skip”
means the waste container supplied. “Hire Period” means the agreed period starting from delivery.
 2. Hire Period
The hire period begins on the delivery / invoice date shown on the invoice. The standard hire period is up
to 14 days unless otherwise agreed. Skips not ready for collection at the end of the hire period may incur
additional hire charges.
 3. Delivery & Collection
The customer must ensure clear, safe, and suitable access for delivery and collection. Failed delivery or
collection due to access issues, obstructions, unsafe conditions, or customer absence may be charged.
Delivery and collection times are approximate and subject to traffic, weather, and operational conditions.
 4. Skip Placement & Ground Conditions
The customer confirms that ground conditions are suitable to support the weight of the skip and vehicle.
We accept no liability for damage to driveways, paving, tarmac, block paving, surfaces, underground
services, or property arising from skip placement, movement, or collection. The use of boards or protective
measures is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
 5. Movement of the Skip
Skips must not be moved once placed. Any damage, loss, or additional costs resulting from movement by
the customer or third parties will be the customer’s responsibility.
 6. Overloading
Skips must be filled level with the top edge only. Overloaded skips may not be collected until excess waste
is removed. Additional charges will apply, including surcharges per foot above level load as stated on the
invoice.
 7. Prohibited & Restricted Waste
The following must not be placed in the skip unless agreed in advance: asbestos, tyres, fridges or
freezers, paint, oils, solvents, chemicals, gas bottles, or hazardous waste. Charges
will apply for removal, handling, and disposal of prohibited waste, and the customer may be liable for
penalties.
 8. Permits & Public Highway Placement
Where a skip is placed on a public highway, footpath, or verge, the customer is responsible for ensuring a
valid council permit is in place unless otherwise agreed. The customer will be responsible for any fines or
penalties arising from missing or invalid permits.
 9. Payment
Payment is due on delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. For trade customers, late payments may
incur recovery costs and interest in line with applicable legislation.
10. Waste Ownership & Disposal
Once waste is placed in the skip it becomes the property of RWM Skip Hire. All waste is disposed of at
licensed facilities in accordance with environmental regulations. 11. Limitation of Liability

Same-day cancellations may be charged in full.
